A page from a small Bible is one of the only recognizable things left after two American Humvees were destroyed by an Air Force plane that mistook them for Iraqi vehicles. Three soldiers were killed in the accident.

Killed in action in Iraq. Assigned to C Battery, 3rd Battalion, 13th Field Artillery Regiment (Multiple Launch Rocket System), Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Died on April 3, 2003.

33, of Pentwater, Michigan.
Killed in action in Iraq. He was assigned to C Battery, 3rd Battalion, 13th Field Artillery Regiment (Multiple Launch Rocket System), Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Died on April 3, 2003.
Army Sgt. Donald Samuel Oaks, Jr.

20, of Harborcreek, Pennsylvania.
Killed in action in Iraq. Assigned to C Battery, 3rd Battalion, 13th Field Artillery Regiment (Multiple Launch Rocket System), Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Died on April 3, 2003.

Oaks was promoted to Sergeant on the same day he was killed in action.
