He is a member of B company 1st of the 36th Infantry regiment that lives on a hilltop in the town of Silovo. Their mission is to protect the Serbian church in the town. Washington and his squad members rotate every two days with another squad in their platoon. The squad on duty endures cramped quarter while on shift.
